John is Director and owner of Buryfield Grange Pension & Investments Limited (BGLPAIL) and is our occupational pension specialist. Originally from Edinburgh he has worked in several locations around the UK before settling in the West Midlands several years ago. He holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (AFPC), The Financial Planning Certificate (FPC), The Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) G60 pensions paper, CF9 (Pensions Simplification) and is a member of the Personal Finance Society.
John has over 40 years experience in the pensions industry.
He has held senior positions within pension consultancy companies, a number of life offices, as well as Pensions Manager for a major Plc.
John has the special qualifications required to provide advice on occupational pension transfers which includes matters relating to pension in divorce.
